Williamsburg’s Whirlybird Is Officially Closed
If you’re a breakfast taco lover then this news will probably come as a shock, but those of you who have never had the pleasure of tasting a truly authentic breakfast taco should be the ones in mourning.
Last week, Eater NY reported that Williamsburg’s premiere Austin-style breakfast taco joint, Whirlybird, was officially closing its doors for as-yet-unknown reasons. The news came via this tweet:

Goodbye, dear friend. If reading this has given you a major hankering for breakfast tacos, you can still head over to Briskettown and a few other places, but nothing compares to your first love, right?
