I mean, this is obvious. Why wouldn’t you want at least 60 bottles of wine on hand at all times, regardless of quality? More importantly, though, having anything you actually made yourself, let alone booze, is really great failsafe for birthdays, dinner parties, essentially any gift-giving occasion that comes up for the next several months. Even if your friends actually hate it, no one will ever be anything but super nice when you part with a limited-edition bottle “grape and currant wine, I made it myself!” You won’t need to buy anyone another present until spring, at the earliest. You also won’t have to leave the house to get drunk.
