This will be easy. First, we’ve got MTV’s VMAs headed our way in less than a month. For a less lavish take, The Talent Show Brand Variety Show periodically bops around to various Brooklyn bars (Littlefield, The Bell House, etc.) throughout the year with a medley of comedians, speakers, actors and/or bands performing around a central theme in tow. Past shows have included Eugene Mirman, Ira Glass and Sarah Vowell, to give you some idea of the caliber of talent. For immediate entertainment, funny guy Max Silvestri hosts weekly installments of Williamsburg’s comedy-show mainstay Big Terrific at Cameo.
