And yet, the debut venture from husband-and-wife team Aaron Israel (of Mile End and Torrisi), and Sawako Okochi (Anissa and the Good Fork) has exhibited real legs, with dishes like sake challah, lambs tongue okonomiyaki, and udon with pork and beet horseradish that thoughtfully borrow and intersperse elements from each culture.
