Brooklyn’s Best Juice Spots (and What to Drink!)
Perelandra Natural Food: Perelandra is a wonderful Brooklyn Heights resource for all things healthy and delicious (you HAVE to try the veggie burger mix from Made by Lukas), but best of all is the kitchen and juice bar. We love the Brooklyn Sunrise, with carrots, oranges, and beets. We also love that (maybe because it’s also a retail shop) the prices are much lower than at most competitors.

Summers: Having opened just a few months ago, Summers is the kind of place that you wish had been around forever. Just think of how much healthier you’d be! The food at Summers is all locally sourced and good for you, but there are options for meat and dairy lovers as well as vegans. All the juice and smoothie choices are excellent, but possibly our favorite things at Summers is the Red shot. Comprised of beets, lemon, and bee pollen, it warms you right up with its earthy freshness.

Sun In Bloom: This vegan, gluten-free Park Slope stalwart offers some of the healthiest food in Brooklyn. We love the house-made kimchi and sunrise scramble, and the spot is no slouch in the beverage department either. We recommend the Sweet Lady Green (kale, collards, romaine, cucumber, parsley) if you want a juice, but if you’re up for something really different, try the chia almond mylk (what? that’s how they spell it), which is sweet and slightly chewy…just how you want your drinks to be, right?
