Brooklyn’s Best Juice Spots (and What to Drink!)
Tiny Empire: Some of the most creative juice offerings in Brooklyn can be had at this gem of a juice shop. We love drinks like the pineapple, banana, mint, hemp milk and ginger smoothie. And we also love that Tiny Empire offers shots of colloidal silver. We hear it does really good stuff for you, and there’s only one way to find out! Bottom’s up.

Brooklyn Crepe and Juice: This longtime Flatbush Avenue spot was around way before the juicing craze took off. And it’s going to be around for a longtime to come, because everything here is satisfying and delicious. But our favorite thing (besides the gluten-free crepes) is the Spicy C Train smoothie, which kicks our taste buds into high gear because of the addition of ginger to the mango, cinnamon, honey and Vitamin C. Our mouth is tingling just thinking about it!

Stoop Juice: This small South Slope storefront is kind of a blink-and-you’ll miss it spot for pedestrians. You need to know it’s there. But once you do, you’ll want to visit all the time. We’re especially partial to the Defender, which mixes seasonal greens, wheatgrass and apples for a bright, fresh flavor that makes you feel protected from all germs, everywhere, at all times.

The Bush Doctor: We love this Bed-Stuy spot for its house-made ginger beer (and the ginger coffee!), but there’s also excellent juice and smoothies to be had at the Bush Doctor. And as an added bonus, many juices claim to have a medicinal quality, like the Arthritis Juice (turnips, ginger, cucumber, apple and aloe vera) or the Protect Your Jewels Remedy (spinach and carrot). Who wouldn’t want to protect their jewels? Or, if you don’t care about your jewels, consider getting the ever-popular Brother Man smoothie (vanilla oat milk, hemp protein, oats, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, flaxseed, vanilla almond milk, L-Lysine, zinc, vitamin B6, vitamin B12, vitamin E, vitamin C and banana) which is just loaded up with nutritional goodness.
