These Rachel Comey boots are pretty much the platonic ideal of an ankle boot: they hit the ankle at its most flattering spot; they’re made of soft, supple leather that basically molds to the foot; and the heels are the perfect height not only for elongating the leg, but also for running around city streets. We’ve had our pair since 2010 and, reader, they only get better with time. We kind of can’t imagine our closet without them, and we have yet to find an outfit they can’t improve.
