Photos: At the Village Voice’s Brooklyn Pour Festival
At the Village Voice’s 2nd annual Brooklyn Pour at Skylight One Hanson this past Saturday, more than 65 breweries handed out unlimited samples of more than 100 beers to 3,000 very thirsty people—many of them bearded, the overwhelming majority of them astonishingly friendly, and almost all of them a good deal drunker than they probably thought they’d be able to get on 2oz samples. There was a crazy amount of good beer there for the taking, and if I were to name one favorite from the whole day, it would have to be Kelso’s Rye Porter, a porter aged in Rittenhouse Rye barrels. Delicious. Here, now, are some photos.
