When Forbes dropped the bomb on us last week that they were authorities on hipsters and had therefore calculated a very scientific study evaluating America’s hippest hipster neighborhoods, reactions from said neighborhoods sprung up all over the place. Our own Kristin Iversen piped in, understandably a little confused as to how Williamsburg could place third. Have you seen how people dress there?
Others were angry, a few rival neighborhoods protested, while some residents expressed genuine excitement that their ‘hood had been acknowledged on the list, thereby canceling its inclusion on it.
